ROG Xbox Ally
The handheld Xbox: full Windows + Game Pass in an ASUS-built 7″ body (Ryzen Z2 A, 16GB/512GB) at an ERP under the Series X.
Best for
- Game Pass libraries
- Xbox + PC play anywhere
- Handheld-first buyers
Watch out
Windows on a small screen is more friction than Switch/SteamOS; battery under AAA load is the trade for the open library. Xbox lists these as estimated retailer prices, not Microsoft prices. The Ally X (Z2 Extreme, 24GB/1TB) sits at $999.99 ERP; the X20 (7.4″ OLED, Z2 Extreme, 24GB/1TB) opened pre-orders 25 August at $1,299.99 / £1,299 and releases 15 October 2026.
Xbox Series X25 Limited Edition
The 25th-anniversary Series X: same 12TF/1TB hardware in translucent OG-green, $100 over the standard Series X at $899.99 MSRP — a collector's pick, not a performance pick.
Best for
- Xbox collectors
- Anniversary nostalgia
- Buyers who missed the 2TB Galaxy Black
Watch out
Cosmetic edition of the standard Series X — you pay $100 more than the regular $799.99 disc model for the design, not for specs. 25,000 individually numbered units, each with a Halo: Campaign Evolved download; pre-orders opened 26–27 August and sold out quickly, and it ships 13 November 2026. UK retail pre-orders were listed at £759.99 (Argos). Expect resale mark-ups.
