Until you make a choice, AI Choice Engine signals Google Consent Mode v2 with advertising and analytics storage denied. You can revisit your choices anytime via the “Manage cookies” link in the site footer.

Newsletter sign-up uses two paths. The quiet corner prompt posts email, marketing consent, page URL, referrer, and an anonymous id to GatherSprout (form frm_hhUCXYupHk4HJyiA at gathersprout.com), and may also send form.viewed, form.interacted, and form.conversion events. The older email field on some pages still stores a first-party LeadCapture record in the private admin database. Neither path is a guaranteed double-opt-in inbox confirm until that vendor flow is verified. Use the contact page to ask for access or deletion where applicable.

First-party site-event records are retained for up to 90 days. Affiliate-click records and contact messages are retained for up to 730 days unless a deletion request or an unresolved operational need requires earlier review. Newsletter email, status, consent timestamp, and subscription timestamps are retained while needed to send or suppress updates; free-form newsletter context is cleared after 365 days.

AI Choice Engine may work with service providers that help operate hosting, analytics, contact handling, or affiliate attribution. Information should only be shared where needed to run the site or fulfil a request.

Affiliate redirects remain available when analytics is declined. This site always stores a first-party, non-PII affiliate-click record (destination slug and full destination URL, network, source page path with query stripped, surface, position, category, and an anonymous decision-session id) so monetization reporting stays accurate. Contact form submissions are stored in the admin database and also emailed to the site's support inbox for handling. Google Analytics and first-party SiteEvent analytics remain consent-gated and are not written without analytics consent. The destination merchant or affiliate network may receive the click under its own privacy policy and attribution terms.

If you enable the optional AI refinement in a decision tool, the tool sends normalized answers to OpenAI to refine the deterministic shortlist. The refinement is off unless you enable it, and it does not send your email address or free-form contact message. Leave it off if you do not want answers sent to that provider.
